In the first quarter of the game, Curry stumbled during a crossover attempt and went down with a mild right ankle sprain. The foot sprain is obviously not a positive, but the fact that it is apparently not related to Curry's ankle is less concerning than the foot. The injury forced him to turn the ball over and he left the game shortly afterward. The disgruntled six-time All-Star, who missed his 7th straight game with what the team has listed as back spasms, wore a T-shirt with the famous Looney Toons sign off written across the chest.

Steve Kerr says Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry should be fit for the start of the National Basketball Association playoffs after suffering a sprained foot.

On the other hand, Christian Wood had 26 points and 12 rebounds for the Pelicans, who closed out the season with 13 losses in their last 16 games as they mixed and matched lineups of primarily young or recently acquired players they sought to evaluate for the future. He's suffered similar injuries in past seasons.

Luke Walton leaves two days after Magic Johnson
The Lakers announced the news in a statement, freeing up the team to go find a new coach and Walton to find a new team. The Los Angeles Lakers will search for a new coach after firing Luke Walton.

Steph Curry heading to the locker room after tweaking his ankle just days before playoffs... He scored five points in nine minutes before exiting the game against New Orleans. He is now averaging 27.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.3 assists.

Kerr did announce that Curry will likely rest for Wednesday's (meaningless) game against the Grizzlies, but added that the two-time MVP should be fine for Game 1 of the team's playoff series this weekend.

Curry has struggled with lower leg injuries in the past.
