Kane will see a specialist next week after suffering "significant lateral ligament" damage to his left ankle in Spurs" Champions League win over Manchester City on Tuesday, with Pochettino admitting it will be "difficult' for him to play again before the end of the domestic season.

However, they would not yet put an estimated date on the 25-year-old's return, adding: "Investigations are ongoing and he will continue to be assessed by our medical staff over the coming week".

Kane, who has scored 24 goals for Tottenham this season, slipped as he tried to block City full-back Fabian Delph's clearance on the right touchline in the second half and was substituted immediately.

England face the Netherlands in their Nations League semifinal on June 6, the day after hosts Portugal play Switzerland, with the final set for June 9 in Porto.

There was a further blow for Spurs as the club said Kane's England team-mate Dele Alli sustained a fracture in his left hand in the win over City.

"It's a tough moment for him, the team and us", Pochettino said on Friday.

Luke Walton leaves two days after Magic Johnson
The Lakers announced the news in a statement, freeing up the team to go find a new coach and Walton to find a new team. The Los Angeles Lakers will search for a new coach after firing Luke Walton.

The England midfielder will be assessed to determine his availability for this weekend's match against Huddersfield Town.

"If we arrive in the final of the Champions League maybe he would have the possibility to play, but we'll see".

He was ruled out for nearly two months in January, missing seven games, when he damaged ligaments in the same ankle during their 1-0 Premier League home defeat by Manchester United.

Kane will miss Saturday's clash with Huddersfield at Spurs" new stadium, which Pochettino believes will be "decisive' in the race for the top four.

The concern about Kane isn't just in the short-term, but in the long-term, as the Spurs boss admitted that the forward's injury history could be an issue. He is Harry Kane because he behaves like this in the past.
