The land itself is looking especially interesting - it's a region that's barely been explored in The Elder Scrolls as a series - and that aforementioned necromancer class looks pretty darn cool.

The deal is for Monday only and gets you a PC version of the game. Log-in to Bethesda.net or create an account following the steps below to redeem a free copy for PC!

There are a couple of little caveats to this giveway that are worth mentioning. "To celebrate this fantastic anniversary, you can begin your journey to the Khajiiti homeland with the Elsweyr Prologue, enjoy sales on the ESO base game and Summerset Chapter, and try the game out free, no strings attached, during our Free Play Event". First, you only have 24 hours or so to secure a free copy of Morrowind as of this writing. A freebie is a freebie and Morrowind truly is an excellent game so you should still grab it regardless. To kick things off, the video game company is offering a free copy of Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. As the Prologue is part of The Elder Scrolls Online base game, you won't need the Wrathstone DLC or a The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr pre-purchase to access this new adventure.

Miami Open: No. 1 Osaka loses in 3rd round, Serena withdraws
Naomi Osaka didn't have a fantastic experience at this Miami Open after she lost against the talented Su-Wei Hsieh . Three-time champion Venus Williams overcame a wobbly start to beat No. 24 Carla Suarez Navarro 7-6 (4), 6-1.

If you've yet to give ESO a try, head on over to the game's Free Play page now to select your platform.

Elsewhere, The Elder Scrolls Online is going free-to-play during the period March 28 - April 3, while the Season of the Dragon's Elsweyr Prologue is now available to grab for free. You can view Bethesda's full streaming and events schedule right here.
