But Barr and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein concluded that the evidence was "not sufficient to establish that the president committed an obstruction of justice offense", the summary said.

The conclusion of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential election and possible collusion by then-candidate Donald Trump's campaign has networks scrambling to provide comprehensive coverage.

After reading the report, Mr Barr said he believed there was not enough evidence to establish the President had committed a crime.

"I would in fact wonder if the attorney general pressured the special counsel into not making that finding so he could make the finding", Nadler added.

Trump's former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, was sentenced for obstruction of justice and conspiracy in September.

That ambiguity has given otherwise chastened Democrats - many of whom told Americans over the past two years that Mr Mueller's report would result in the discovery of impeachable offences against Mr Trump - an opening.

The two Democrats also said Trump's declaration that the report is a complete exoneration of the president because it clears him of colluding with Russian Federation "directly contradicts the words of Mr Mueller and is not to be taken with any degree of credibility". That makes it hard to make a case that Trump had the "corrupt intent" that would be needed to prove an obstruction charge, Barr said in his letter.

Many of Trump's opponents accused him of obstructing the Russian Federation probe when he fired FBI Director James Comey in May 2017.

"What they're basically saying is that they're going to impeach the president for being Donald Trump", he told CNN. "There was really an affirmative "No" said Eric Jaso, a former associate special counsel for the Whitewater affair during former President Bill Clinton's administration."If they'd gone along and said yes, that would have fallen under the tacit agreement category". "To be honest it's a shame that your president has had to go through this", Trump said.

Of the seven Israelis injured in the house on an agricultural community, three were children and all were members of one family. Magen David Adom rescue service said it was treating six people, including a 50-year-old woman who was moderately wounded.

During his investigation, Mr Mueller looked at whether a number of Mr Trump's actions might have obstructed the course of justice. "Democrats in the House will use their subpoena power and whatever else they can employ to try to make the entire report public".

House Judiciary Committee chairman Jerry Nadler on Sunday called for Barr himself to testify.

Separately former FSB chief Nikolai Patrushev strongly attacks the United States political system claiming flaws emerged because the president was not directly elected but chosen via an electoral college 'whose opinion often does not reflect the position of the majority of voters'. He went to his golf club on Saturday and Sunday but was uncharacteristically silent about Friday's conclusion of the Mueller probe.

Between May 17, 2017 - the day Mueller was appointed Special Counsel - through September 30, 2018, his office spent $12,287,852. In his letter, Barr indicated that he'll share a redacted version of the full report at a future date.Barr said that he's asked the Special Counsel to identify confidential information that must be kept classified and that as soon as "that process is complete, I will be in a position to move forward expeditiously in determining" what can be released.

The US special services accuse Russian Federation of meddling in the US election process in 2016.

None of those charges, however, directly related to whether Trump's campaign worked with Moscow.

Defenders of the Mueller investigation found a measure of vindication in the thoroughness with which the veteran prosecutor and former FBI director carried out the probe.

He also noted there wasn't an underlying crime involving Trump.
