A new Amazon Kindle ebook reader has been launched in India.

The most important change is the addition of a built-in adjustable front light to an already robust list of features for a sub-$100 price point. In turn, the entry-level new Kindle comes with a lower-resolution 6-inch 167 ppi display surrounded by massive bezels that stick out in a not-very-elegant way and no protection against liquid damage.

Amazon's Kindle family breaks down into three major segments - the cheap Kindle, the Paperwhite and the luxury Oasis. In the coming months, Amazon is also rolling out new reading features for this device and all its newer e-readers, going as far back as the Gen 6 Paperwhite released in 2013. While the PPI is small, remember, you are only reading books and not viewing movies.

The Amazon Kindle is, without a doubt. the best e-reader money can buy. To incentivize upgraders, Amazon's offering a trade-in deal in which your previous Kindle gets you "an gift card for the appraised value as well as a 25% discount on [the] new device". The device will start shipping starting April 10.

Apple AirPods 2 launched with longer battery life, wireless charging case
How do the new AirPods 2 and the old AirPods compare though? The wireless charging case can also be bought separately for £79. The new wireless chip will make it faster to switch AirPods connection between an iPhone, Mac, and Apple Watch .

The all-new entry-level Kindle is available to pre-order beginning today.

However, you are missing out on the 300ppi display (this cheaper Amazon Kindle has a 167ppi display), the IPX8 waterproofing, and the higher storage capacity.

Kindle Unlimited provides unlimited access to millions of titles, which lets you read popular authors across a range of genres as much as you want at no extra cost. Covers for the All-new Kindle are also available in charcoal black, sandstone white, cobalt blue, and punch red fabrics for $44.95.
