The report states that Ninja was asked by Electronic Arts to help the publisher launch Apex Legends with the game barely unraveled to the public. "For this he was paid around $1 million", Reuters was told by a source.

While the source for Reuters claims shroud was also paid, and this is confirmed by his #ad tweets among other statements made by himself, they did not disclose just how much he was paid.

Ninja has over 13 million followers on Twitch, meaning that anything he streams will get an astronomical amount of exposure.
