It's uneven, somewhat weakly written, and it drags a bit, but it's still a fun ride.

The Captain Marvel box office numbers continue to come in, with Wednesday's now available, which sees the flick drop 41.4% from Tuesday, and 21.8% from Monday.

Online trolls have taken offence to both of these elements, specifically targeting the film's Rotten Tomatoes page and lowering its fan score to 28 per cent "Fresh" before the film was even released.

Fans can find the Marvel hero at Hangar 12 in Hollywood Land from 9:25 a.m.to 3 p.m. for a limited time this season, as her F-15 Eagle jet is being readied for a special mission from a S.H.I.E.L.D. hanger, the park's website reads. The film's directors, MCU rookies Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, leave it to the audience to put together the pieces of her origin story while Danvers, an amnesiac, does the same. And as for the battles-Captain Marvel is essentially undefeatable, so you get to watch her kick asses from here to outer space, on screen as in life.

It kicks off a series of mostly black-and-white flashbacks to the various Avengers' past adventures and the vanishing caused by Thanos' snap in Avengers: Infinity War.
