In three seasons, Hornibrook has a 60.5 completion percentage, 155 passing yards per game and 47 touchdown passes with 33 interceptions.

The former Wisconsin quarterback started the last three seasons for the Badgers but chose to leave the program after winter workouts following an injury-riddled redshirt-junior season in 2018.

Kennedy, who is one of several Alabama prospects the Seminoles are getting involved with, already had developed a strong connection with Florida State linebackers coach Raymond Woodie. As a graduate transfer, Hornibrook will be eligible immediately.

Since the tumultuous departure of Deondre Francois, FSU has been desperately pursuing help at the quarterback position. The Badgers finished the season with an 8-5 record.

Smollett's lawyer welcomes cameras in courtroom
Cameras will be allowed at Thursday's hearing in the criminal trial of " Empire " actor Jussie Smollett , a judge ruled Tuesday. The high profile attorney will be representing Smollett in court on Thursday.

He logged a career year in 2017, tossing for 2,644 yards, completing 62.3 percent of his passes (198-318) with 25 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.

The 22-year-old Hornibrook announced his decision to leave the Badgers last month. He's expected to compete for the starting job.

Hornibrook joins redshirt sophomore James Blackman, Louisville transfer Jordan Travis, walk-on Nolan McDonald and recent Western Michigan transfer Wyatt Rector on the roster.

There's usually at least one surprise visitor at every Florida State Junior Day, and this time around it might have been Alabama linebacker Demouy Kennedy.
