First released for Xbox One in November 2014, Halo: The Master Chief Collection now includes Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST (Campaign), and Halo 4.

Instead of bringing all of the Halo games into the PC ecosystem at once, 343 Industries and Microsoft are instead opting for a slower approach, in which each title is released one at a time - this is being done to ensure a stable launch for each title.

The Xbox team post promised more news to come, which is welcome for the fans who have been waiting to play the later Halo games every since Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 came out on desktop years ago.

No release date for Master Chief Collection on PC was given.

Halo: Reach is finally coming to Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and now Microsoft has clarified how you'll get access to it on Xbox One and PC.

Halo Reach is also coming to Xbox One. Features like proper mouse and keyboard support, customisable keybinds, FOV sliders, and ultrawide resolutions are all specifically cited in the announcement.

The Master Chief Collection is coming to PC, but not all at once.

"MCC will be updated and enhanced for PC with 4K HDR visuals, 60FPS gameplay".

Halo: Reach was originally released on Xbox 360 in 2010 and was the final game that developed by Bungie before they moved on to create such titles as Destiny 1 and 2. Microsoft said it also plans to sell each game individually, as well as in the Master Chief Collection bundle. He noted that "the path for taking a service like Game Pass and bringing it to PC is a natural pass".

Microsoft says that at this point, it plans to start with Halo: Reach first, then it will release each title in chronological order "over time".

Xbox Game Pass subscribers have the easiest path to getting all of Halo: Reach's components.
