The Cleveland Browns are acquiring All-Pro wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. from the New York Giants in a blockbuster trade of one of the NFL's most popular players. While it's nearly unfathomable to consider the idea of two star wide receivers being traded in one offseason, the chances of it happening may be heating up.

After months of nearly unbelievable speculation, reports and rumors proved accurate in that the Giants were open to taking calls on a trade of Beckham Jr.

Beckham signed a five-year extension worth up to $95 million with the Giants on August 27, 2018.

Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports 1 reports, nearly unbelievably, that the Giants have, in fact, traded Beckham to the Cleveland Browns. It was buzzing around Indy that the 49ers want him though. While their first round pick this year (No. 2 overall) is surely off the table, some later and/or future draft picks may get New York's attention.

Now, even more stories are coming out.

Missing Catherine Shaw: Body found in Guatemala
Calls to the family home, where Catherine's mother Anne and sister Jenny live, were referred to the Lucie Blackman Trust. In a statement, they said: "She has always been really good about keeping in touch and informing us of her whereabouts".

The Giants are still involved in trade discussions with Odell Beckham Jr., according to a source. Likewise, it positions the Giants to land at least one of the best available pass rushers in a class that's loaded with them.

Bleacher Report's Matt Miller believes the Browns are probably the favorite to land Beckham, if he's traded.

"The rumor that I heard is that they were clearing cap space to potentially go after Odell Beckham Jr.", Miller said.

Beckham spent the first five seasons of his career with NY, who selected the wideout with 12th pick of the 2014 National Football League draft. But for now, all we can do as Giants fans is sit and hope we don't lose out on a superstar receiver.
