Sony has updated its PlayStation 4 console software to allow game-syncing with its Remote Play app for the iPhone and iPad. You can play in landscape or portrait mode, though it appears you are limited to on-screen controls and can't use a DualShock 4 with it. It'll allow you to join voice chats, control your PS4, enter text via your device's keyboard, and more.

The PS4 Remote Play app is immediately available for Apple iOS devices.

The feature requires you to be on the same Wi-Fi network as the PS4.

Another big limitation is that you can not pair the PS4 Dualshock controller to iPhone/iPad.

It probably made sense to expand Remote Play to platforms other than PS Vita now that the handheld is officially dead. Log into the PS4 and go into Settings Remote Play Connection Settings Add Device.

Sony hasn't provided an exhaustive list of every game which is compatible, simply stating that you can play "your favorite PS4 games". Users must be running iOS 12.1 or later to install. Version 6.50 of the PS4 Remote Play is now available for download, and gives owners of iPhones and iPads the ability to remotely play their PS4 games. Here are two controllers users have reported as working with Remote Play. Also, DUALSHOCK 4 controllers aren't supported, and the app it can't be used with mobile data. You can not use it with a mobile network. Then, once you are done with setting the app up, you can stream PS4 games on your iPhone. Bringing with it the highly anticipated new Remote Play support for iOS devices, which is available when the latest application is downloaded to your iOS smartphone or tablet.
