Flawless for those quick bathroom stops.

At its peak, V3 can charge at rates of 1,000 miles per hour, and can top up a Model 3 Long Range with 75 miles of charge in five minutes.

However, since Tesla's Fremont, CA Supercharger is the only so-equipped charging station in the United States so far, chances are those batteries will already be rolling at pretty moderate temps.

Tesla says that only the Model 3 will be updated to support the maximum charge rate of 250 kW, at least for now.

V3 Supercharging is based on a new 1MW power cabinet, which supports peak rates of up to 250kW per auto, up from earlier 120kW.

Nielsen tells Congress border crisis is real
Last year, Trump lashed out at Nielsen as border apprehensions increased, but eventually he warmed to her . He said more common is a situation where an illegal immigrant claims to be a parent, but is lying.

A new feature called On-Route Battery Warmup, means as you set your destination for a Supercharger, your battery will warm itself up, to prepare itself for optimum charging, so you spend less time waiting for a charge, by 25%. But times change, and companies like ElectrifyAmerica and ChargePoint are rolling out new DC Fast chargers for these standards that are capable of recharging a vehicle at much higher power-350kW in the case of ElectrifyAmerica and 500kW in the case of ChargePoint.

Tesla says the V3 stations will give full charging power to any owner, without splitting power with the next vehicle also at the station at the same time - and as a result, a typical charge time can drop to around 15 minutes.

The rollout of the V3 Supercharging network will take until the end of the year and allow twice as many cars each day to charge. That's a meaningful improvement that will help relieve the increasing tension and lines at Superchargers around the world.

Tesla plans to expand beyond the first beta charger next month, when it will break ground on the first public V3 Supercharger. The first V3 Supercharger sites in Europe and Asia are due in the final quarter of the year.

And it charges the almost 200,000 Model 3 sedans that are here in the USA today, getting drivers on their way very quickly, in time for summer road trips.
