"Well, you didn't vote for me", the senator responded.

When the students told her she has to listen to them because they voted for them, Feinstein challenged one student on her age until she admitted she was 16.

As the group leaves the office, a young woman turns to the camera. I could think of at least 20 ways to respond and hers was off the charts disrespectful, degrading and just plain rude.

Senator Dianne Feinstein is drawing criticism for snapping at a group of schoolchildren who demanded that she vote "yes" on the Green New Deal - but her supporters defend her for engaging with them on the subject.

Progressive strategist Eric Schmeltzer said on Twitter that Feinstein should apologize for getting "snippy" with the kids and criticized her as too pragmatic on the issue in general.

"You know what's interesting about this group", Feinstein observes at one point, "is I've been doing this for 30 years".

Feinstein is then heard telling the kids she will give them a copy of her own climate change resolution. Like, I just introduced the Green New Deal two weeks ago and it's creating all of this conversation. Why?

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's (D-NY) "Green New Deal" - a massive government takeover of large portions of the USA economy - is projected to cost up to $93 trillion.

It's likely Resident Evil 4 will be released on a card in Japan, but we've yet to see official confirmation of that. The tweet revealing their release date also states that pre-orders for the Switch ports will begin on February 28.

"I'm trying to do the best I can, which was to write a responsible resolution", Feinstein said.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) waits to board an elevator after a vote on January 31 on Capitol Hill.

In response, Feinstein told the group that "we have our own Green New Deal". "So I don't think that working on an issue for 30 years alone is what qualifies as-as what makes someone qualified to solve an issue", Ocasio-Cortez said in a clear dig at the 30-year incumbent.

Later, a young woman stresses the need for a climate plan with "bold, transformative action", and Feinstein replies, "Well, you know better than I do".

American Action Forum (AAF), a conservative non-profit run by former Congressional Budget Office (CBO) director Douglas Holtz-Eakin, released a study on Monday which found that Ocasio-Cortez's Green New Deal could cost somewhere between $51 and $93 trillion over the next ten years.

Among other issues, the Green New Deal calls for a job-guarantee program offering a "living wage job to every person who wants one", a plan to aid workers affected by climate change, universal health care - and basic income programs. "I have been and remain committed to doing everything I can to enact real, meaningful climate change legislation", Feinstein said.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) has quickly become one of the most famous politicians in Congress, amassing an extensive social media following and generating headlines across all media platforms.
