The report underscores some of the rumors that have already been floating around regarding the search giant's product plans for 2019.

The Nikkei Asian Review's sources also reported that new smart speakers, wearables and web cameras will be arriving this year (as well as the premium Pixel 4 too of course). Amid of Apple's low sales, Google sees an opportunity to bring the ecosystem with some new advancements.

Moreover, it was noted such growth took place while the smartphone market as a whole decreased by 23 percent year-over-year in the fourth quarter of 2018.

A report on Nikkei Asian Review has revealed Google's entire product lineup for 2019, including two new Pixel phones, an upgraded Google Home and the first Pixel Watch. In comparison, Google's latest smartphone model, the Pixel series launched in October a year ago, was priced at $799 Dollars.

In terms of design, the Google Pixel 3 Lite looks to be much closer to the Pixel 3 than the Pixel 3 XL. It is rumoured to host a 5.6 inch IPS Full HD+ display.

United Kingdom inflation falls to 1.8%
The central bank has set an inflation target of 2.8 per cent for the last quarter of the current financial year ending March 31. Consumer inflation in December was revised downwards to 2.11 per cent from 2.19 per cent, according to the official statement.

Finally, the firm will be launching a new security camera, a new product line for the firm. It's said to be part of Google's attempt to expand its audience with Pixel smartphones, offering a more affordable version as it scales up its hardware ambitions with a number of new devices and form-factors.

Since the flagship version of the vanilla Google Pixel 3 came in third place - but at 25 percent of the vote, which is not far at all from the second place victor - we can also assume that those of you who want a smaller phone aren't ready to give up flagship features to get it. Now, it seems, Google is looking to address that once more.

Citing "industry sources", Nikkei reports Google will price the budget Pixel under the iPhone XR. Moreover, it's unconfirmed whether it will come with a wholly new smart speaker or will be an updated version of the old Home products.

And lastly, the company is reportedly working on a new security camera. The presentations might offer hints about future hardware from Google.
