"Once Masai called and I talked to some of the guys in (the locker room), everybody said the same thing about making a run to the title, and that gets your juices going and makes you real excited", Gasol told reporters ahead of his Raptors debut on Saturday, according to TSN's Josh Lewenberg.

Marc Gasol will make his Toronto Raptors debut as they take on the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.

The person spoke Thursday to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the National Basketball Association has not held the trade call. The 76ers and Bucks have also made major moves as the trade deadline nears, with Philly landing Tobias Harris and Milwaukee getting Nikola Mirotic.

Arguably the strangest and most hilarious routine in the Association, the Toronto point guard's teammates graciously hit the floor and partake in various workout-mimicking antics while Lowry frees them one-by-one with the power of a theatrical handshake. It's exciting. You feel happy.

Meghan spotted at gala in first appearance since dad revealed 'devastating' letter
"It's not nice to talk badly about someone else just because you can, as he or she takes advantage of the anonymity of the web". Markle this weekend shared "devastating" details of a letter sent to him by his daughter last summer with the Mail on Sunday .

Gasol stepped onto the hardwood with 2:20 remaining in the first quarter and the Raptors down 23-17. "He's a good player". Raptors assistant Sergio Scariolo coached Spain. He was just 16 when he arrived in Memphis. He attended tiny Memphis private high school Lausanne Collegiate School.

The Gasols never played together in Memphis. Although he hadn't been with the team long, the 2013 Defensive Player of the Year looked comfortable patrolling the defensive end and quickly contributed to the offence.

Being traded might have been a tough adjustment earlier in his career, Gasol said, but it sounds like he was ready to make this move. "You put things into perspective". You understand the chance you have coming from a team that hasn't made the playoffs last year and more likely than not this year as well, having a chance to be back [in the post-season], you know how much it means.
