If Washington lost, the entire nation falls.

While streaming the closed beta on Twitch over the weekend, a Ubisoft employee accidentally revealed that an open beta for The Division 2 will be landing prior to the game's release this March.

The couple also met with various winners after the ceremony, including Olivia Colman, Letitia Wright, Spike Lee and Rachel Weisz. Kate Middleton's stylish appearance at Sunday's BAFTA Awards included a touching tribute to Princess Diana.

Given that The Division 2 is set for release next month, it can be expected that the supposed beta will take place one weekend in the very near future. Since no open beta has been announced yet, this is probably the first time we're hearing of it.

The team also held near constant live streams for the beta, answering questions and providing tips to fans of the shooter. The free beta weekend will run until March 4th, hopefully giving the developers a few days to put out any last fires before it launches on March 15th. If you failed to get in on the Private Beta the weekend just gone, then this is the ideal chance to get in on the action. However, one host inadvertently spilled the beans on an open beta test. If so, let us know what you thought below. The open beta will end on March 4th and even though Ubisoft has not stated anything additional yet, we are pretty sure that its build will be identical to the one used for the Private Beta.
