Floyd Mayweather, to remind, recently fought Tenshin Nasukawa himself, also in an exhibition bout in the RIZIN ring. I favored Davis to win, but a draw is fair since it was a great fight and could possibly headline a Mayweather Promotions card in Sam's Town in Las Vegas, Nevada.

There were plenty of celebrities in the audience to offer Davis their support including rappers Drake, Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, Jeezy and Birdman as well as National Football League superstars Odell Beckham Jr. and Antonio Brown. It's a sure sign, according to Mayweather, that the powerful southpaw is on the track he took to making massive amounts of money.

Davis (21-0, 20 KOs) did not say anything about the exhibition with Nasukawa, who at least is closer in size to Davis than he is to Mayweather.

Gervonta Davis needed an extra half hour to make weight on Friday for his World Boxing Association super featherweight world title defense against Mexican veteran Hugo Ruiz.

California governor to pull troops from US-Mexico border
Every president since Ronald Reagan has called on the National Guard for limited, temporary missions along the frontier. Aside from state National Guards, the president has ordered thousands of active-duty troops to the border.

Instead, Davis could follow the lead of his promoter, Floyd Mayweather, and go to Japan for a boxing exhibition against Japanese kickboxing star Tenshin Nasukawa, whom Mayweather destroyed in the first round of their scheduled three-round New Year's Eve boxing exhibition at the Saitama Prefecture Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, about a half-hour drive outside of Tokyo.

"Ruiz didn't answer me", Reiss said. I want him to focus more on raising his [7-month-old] daughter and working hard in the gym, surpassing me. "I have three, probably four fights lined up this year". He's gonna be a household name. "When I touched him with the jab, I seen his arm was in front of his face, so I knew if I threw a hook or an uppercut, it was right there to land".

But the 33-year-old Mares (31-3-1, 15 knockouts) pulled out two weeks ago after learning he had suffered a career-threatening detached retina in his right eye in a sparring session.
