Man City hit Chelsea for six as Aguero grabs hat-trick

A poor header by Chelsea's Ross Barkley towards his own goal gifted Aguero with City's third, the Argentine firing home with a first-time shot on the turn, and then a low drive from Ilkay Gundogan made it 4-0 after 25 minutes.

While City played "One Step Beyond", speculation is mounting over whether Sarri has one step out of the Chelsea door, with the team now lying sixth in the table.

Following the break, Aguero, who also became City's all-time top scorer in league games, headed against the bar before he completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot after Sterling had been brought down by Cesar Azpilicueta.

"It is one of the worst nights in my career", added defender Azpilicueta, 29. "It is hard to explain what happened", said Chelsea captain Azpilicueta.

"All I can do is apologise to the fans because it is not acceptable", he said.

Sandwiched between those two heavy losses was a 5-0 win over Huddersfield at Stamford Bridge last weekend and Sarri revealed the discrepancy between home and away results has left him bewildered.

"I would think that when you think what [Kante] did previous year, he was head and shoulders ahead of anyone else", Harris said. "You are asking me [about] something which is not my job".

Chelsea lack an on-field leader like John Terry and Blues legend Ron "Chopper" Harris is anxious that it could cost Maurizio Sarri his job.

Soundarya Rajinikanth, Vishagan Vanangamudi tie the knot
From the film fraternity, Rajinikanth has invited his best friend Kamal Haasan and many producers, directors and actors. He could be seen grooving to the tunes of the song Oruvan Oruvan Mudhalali from Muthu .

"I don't know, you have to ask the club", said Sarri, who was hired after leaving Napoli.

"I want to study, I want to understand". At the beginning we played better away than home, now we're playing better at home than away, something is changing.

In fact, the club were quick to say sorry to the visitors for the act so, fair play.

After losing 2-0 to City in the Community Shield, Chelsea went unbeaten in 18 games. "We need only to understand the reason why at the moment it is isn't working".

Defender Azpilicueta, who was given a torrid time by two-goal City winger Raheem Sterling, said on the club's website, 'It's hard to find the words to describe my feeling after the game.

Aguero started the game by missing an open goal but made up for it with a fine long-range effort before a close range volley handed him another City record, while a second-half penalty gave him his hat-trick.

"We had only to stay in the match but the reaction was not good".

While there is no doubting our chief football writer that this display was one of the most impressive, the line got us thinking about just what was the best outing from the top flight.
