Very impressive moves to fans, but not to the Kansas City Chiefs organization.

After video surfaced this week of the quarterback schooling defenders in a pickup game of basketball, the Chiefs brass put its foot down. Mahomes, who was a high school basketball star, looked pretty great on the court against a bunch of no-names. The Chiefs ended up falling short in the AFC Championship game but Mahomes more than proved himself as one of the best up and coming players in the league. "The Kingdom can rest assured that we have that under control: No more basketball for Pat".

Mahomes' contract actually prohibits him from playing basketball along with a number of other athletic activities.

This technology isn't new, as some cameras from the likes Huawei, OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi have all put ToF sensors on their backs. Due to its fast response speed, ToF technology is widely used in various biometric authentication methods.

Kansas City general manager Brett Veach said the team contacted Mahomes' agent after seeing the video. We were able to nip that in the bud, " Veach told WHB, per ESPN. He was just shooting around and all of a sudden it turns into a spin move and juking guys out.

"Hey, man, you're breaking a lot of ankles out there; just make sure you're not breaking your own", said Veach, who described the conversation as lighthearted Thursday in a teleconference with beat writers. But for now, Mahomes might have to stick to golf, which he also seems to be effortlessly good at.
