Resident Evil 2 "1-Shot Demo" Now Available For Limited Time

The new demo for the Resident Evil 2 remake is here, giving players a chance to finally dive into the game and try it out. Capcom's "Resident Evil 2" remake is slated to be released this coming January 25 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. From its system requirements to game modes, here's what you need to know.

While the demo is only thirty minutes, there is a lot of territory to cover in the small snippet that fans have been given for the upcoming Resident Evil 2 remake. It released on January 11th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC and lasts for exactly thirty minutes.

You can play the Resident Evil 2 demo on PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. It's been confirmed that you can die in the demo and still continue - the only limitation is that 30 minute clock.

You can download the Resident Evil 2 demo for free, even without a PlayStation Plus account. In the demo, you'll have to finish the mission objective in 30 minutes. The demo requires an active internet connection.

Players will take the role of Leon Kennedy as he arrives at Racoon City Police Station, to what will be the worst first day of his life. It's a pretty strict and harsh demo for this reason, but then again, so is the entire concept of saving your game with Ink Ribbons. Are you waiting for the full release of the game?
