Corona, a 22-year-old rookie to the department, was slain after responding to a traffic accident in downtown Davis Thursday night.

The note left by Kevin Douglas Limbaugh of Davis, Calif., was released after Davis police identified the 48-year-old as the man who fatally shot Corona during the officer's response to a vehicle collision Thursday night. When police surrounded the property he stepped outside wearing a bullet proof vest, shouted at officers and then entered the property again and shot himself dead, police said.

The note said: The Davis Police Department has been hitting me with ultra sonic waves meant to keep dogs from barking. Her father, Merced Corona, served 26 years as a Colusa County Sheriff's deputy, the Beereported.

Police said a gunman on a bicycle ambushed the officer, shooting her as she investigated a auto accident, then reloaded and narrowly avoided wounding others before walking away. They say they believe the suspect left it on the bed face up for officers to find after he took his own life.

They went on to issue sympathies for officer Coronas family saying her death was an "incredible, senseless tragedy".

Activision and Bungie announce end of their partnership
To date, Destiny has delivered a combination of over 50 million games and expansions to players all around the world. The transition of publishing from Activision to developer Bungie will be "as seamless as possible".

"He shouted some stuff, went back in and came back out with a firearm, then went back inside, pushed a couch in front of the door and officers heard a gunshot", Pytel said.

No one else was injured in the attack besides Corona, who died at the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. As of Thursday, he said he had no information as to whether she was targeted, and he wasn't sure if someone involved in the crash pulled the trigger. "I did my best to appease them, but they have continued for years and I can't live this way anymore".

"I'd really like to see as many people as possible from the community attend", Pytel said during Saturday's vigil at Davis' Central Park, which was attended by at least 1,000 people. As part of that case, Limbaugh was ordered to surrender an AR-15 rifle, the report said. "She just enjoyed her job".

In addition to the note, officers found two semiautomatic handguns inside the house, a 9 mm and a.45-caliber, Doroshov told the Sacramento Bee.
