He is back in the T20I squad as well as the selectors want to give him as much match practice as possible before the World Cup.

He should be the least concerned about losing a place in India's World Cup XI in England a few months later but for Rohit Sharma, nothing comes easy and should not be taken for granted. "It's also a bit of a help to the captain (Virat Kohli), also going down the batting order and that finishing touch is very important", added the 31-year-old. "I don't see there will be any drastic changes to the squad", he added.

The captain also said that although they are waiting for the verdict to come out, it does not change the way the Indian team thinks and plays the sport. "So it's hard to name the 11 or 12 that'll be playing the World Cup".

Quicks Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc have all been rested from the three-match series which starts on Saturday at he SCG. However, the skipper insisted that the dressing room morale won't be affected by the controversy after the historic high of a maiden Test series triumph in Australia. "We as the Indian cricket team and responsible cricketers don't align with those views, those were individual opinions. We have to grind it out there, face the challenge and make sure that we put them under pressure".

Bernie Sanders faces questions about political future
The allegations have cast a shadow on Sanders' potential 2020 run in a likely crowded field of Democratic contenders. He says rhetoric about "ending sexism and ending all forms of discrimination. can not just be words".

"All these guys are very important, and not to forget Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja who will be playing a crucial role with the bat". Him being around the team is always helpful. "With him around, there's a sense of calmness". His role is very important. "So, things he does brings a lot on the table for us and his presence around the group is a massive factor for us", continued Rohit Sharma.

"He even guides the bowlers on where to bowl and helps Kohli with the field placements".

"Both are doing really well, so somebody like a MS Dhoni standing behind the stumps and helping those guys out about what the batsman is trying to do, makes a huge difference, I think", Sharma said.
