One man who was not impressed with Mayweather crushing the boxing novice was Pacquiao, 40, who defends his WBA "regular" welterweight title against Adrien Broner, 29, on January 19. "I don't listen to any gossip about Adrien Broner, I just focus on my training", Pacquiao said.

During the lead-up to the fight with Broner, Pacquiao has talked about how much he enjoyed getting a knockout after such a long drought and that he is aiming for another one against Broner. "But Pacquiao turned pro when Broner was five years old, and he's had a lot of professional fights, so we'll have to see if the Pacquiao's turns old in this fight".

After years of negotiations and anticipations, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather finally met in the boxing ring in May of 2015.

Pacquiao is in Los Angeles this week to train and meet with the media ahead of his fight with Broner at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on January 19.

Broner looks to do what Rustico Torecampo (February 1996), Boonsai Singurat (September 1999) and four-division champion Juan Manuel Marquez (December 2012) did in finishing Pacquiao. He's ready. He's focused. Hes got us on his back, ” says Ross.

After Pacquiao got off the call, Adrien Broner got on and took questions from the press.

Dave Grohl Falls Off Stage At Foo Fighters Gig… Again
We can confirm this, as we've seen them live multiple times, with lead singer Dave Grohl being from the Washington D.C. area. Grohl took a few steps back up to continue playing with his bandmates when he lost his balance and fell off the stage.

However, there is no debate that as one ages, speed and power are the two variables that normally go first and that is where the concern for the Pacman begins. Pacquiao has fought so many world champions, tremendous amount of experience, but he is also 40 years old.

Since then, despite adding a light-welterweight title to his CV, Broner has been labelled the great under-achiever of American boxing, losing twice more against Shawn Porter and Mikey Garcia, as well as drawing his last bout with Jessie Vargas in April.

"Just one at a time". "A win here and I'm a legend overnight". I think Manny beats him but it would be a hell of a fight. It's amusing to me Mayweather would be there on that night in particular unless he's trying to see what kind of interest there is in another fight after the first one was so uninspiring.

Fernandez said the emphasis is to pounce on Broner's flat-footed stance and eventually take him out with a punch or punches similar to what Pacquiao unleashed on him to culminate Thursday's workout.

Roach said: "Floyd put himself on TV for a reason". "I'm very focused on this fight", he stated clearly.

Fernandez had his baptism of fire as chief trainer previous year when Pacquiao overpowered Lucas Matthysse of Argentina to win the WBA 147-lb title in Malaysia when Hall of Famer Freddie Roach didn't get a call-up.
