Marvel's The Punisher is about to get even more intense.

Castle, played by Jon Bernthal, is loaded up with a whole bunch of guns and guilt in the trailer as he goes after a gang of masked villains the only way he knows how: bullets and a low, gruff voice.

Frank's little fantasy drifter life as Pete Castiglione doesn't last long, as trouble quickly finds him in the form of damsel-in-distress Amy (Giorgia Whigham), a young girl being hunted by a small army of douchebags.

Season two of Marvel's The Punisher will arrive on Netflix soon and the trailer just arrived.

The storyline for the The Punisher's upcoming sophomore season on Netflix is coming into clearer focus, now that Netflix has dropped a full trailer after releasing a teaser earlier this month for what's unfortunately become one of the last two Marvel shows that remain on the streaming platform.

New and old enemies come into his life and he is pressured to make the decision on whether or not to fully accept himself as the Punisher. In the first season of The Punisher, Castle was seemingly free to resume his life without fear of prosecution, thanks to a Presidential pardon. From there, we're reintroduced to Castle's former pal-turned-bad-guy, Billy Russo, who is out for revenge after Frank disfigured his face.

According to recent press release, the second season of Netflix's The Punisher will be released January 18, 2019. Plus, good on Netflix for that surprising Alice in Chains choice.
