Cristiano Ronaldo's lawyer has said U.S. investigators are seeking DNA from the footballer in their investigation of a woman's allegation that the worldwide star raped her in his Las Vegas hotel penthouse in 2009.

The model's lawyer Jonathan Coad of Keystone Law said: 'I am advising her on a possible harassment claim against Mr Ronaldo'. She reported the assault to police the day after but did not pursue the case, and says she was paid $375,000 to keep quiet about the night.

Mayorga went public with her story in an interview with Der Spiegel in September, saying the Portuguese worldwide raped her in a Las Vegas hotel room after a chance meeting in June 2009.

When the warrant is served in Italy, authorities would be expected to collect a sample of Ronaldo's DNA and send it to Las Vegas police, who would assess whether it matches that found on the dress, the police said. "We can confirm that an official request has been submitted to Italian authorities".

Previously, had reported how Portugal global Cristiano Ronaldo was accused to have ordered American lady Kathryn Mayorga to sign secret document for her to remain silent over her claims. Officer Laura Meltzer, a department spokeswoman, said she had no immediate information about where the request was made or whether a warrant was involved.

Chelsea prepared to report Bayern to Federation Internationale de Football Association over Hudson-Odoi
Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi has warned the club they risk losing him on a free if they block his wish to join Bayern Munich . The Spaniard said of an exciting club colleague: "He is a good player, but he is very young".

In October, Ronaldo said he was not a rapist.

But the investigation ended a short time later because Las Vegas police say she only identified her attacker as a European soccer player - not by name - and did not say where the incident took place. After Mayorga filed suit, police reopened a criminal investigation into the case, which includes results of a medical exam.

Ronaldo doesn't deny that he and Mayorga had sex.

"Keen as I may be to clear my name, I refuse to feed the media spectacle created by people seeking to promote themselves at my expense".
