Less than a week after the premiere of Surviving R. Kelly, alleged pedophile R. Kelly now faces a new criminal investigation in Georgia, where he has been accused of running a sex cult.

The Savage family said they have been unable to reach Joycelyn Savage for some time after associating with the singer.

Grammy winning singer and songwriter R. Kelly is under legal scrutiny in two states, Georgia and IL, for sexual and physical abuse by multiple women.

"My oldest daughter [not Azriel] downplayed it because she was scared of what they told her", Clary said.

Foxx reiterated that there are dedicated professionals who are willing to help the survivors unpack their horrific experiences and urged victims to call the prosecutor's office at 773-674-6492.

"There's no evidence of anything".

Kelly's Chicago attorney, Steve Greenberg, said in a phone interview Tuesday evening that the allegations in the Lifetime documentary were false.

"I don't watch that crap".

Russell called Savage while the officer was there and Savage put the phone on speaker so the officer could listen, the police report says.

Foxx said she has been "in contact with" people who have information related to claims in Cook County.

A Cook County State's Attorney representative said officials are "in the process of reviewing and following up on these calls".

But Foxx also said there's no active investigation of Kelly and launching one would require victims and witnesses.

Activists and reporters have for years tried to bring light to Kelly's alleged actions. Mr. Henry James Mason, investigators said in a police report, threatened to harm and kill members of the Savage family in retaliation for attempting to contact daughter Joycelyn Savage. The case was originally presented to a judge in July before a warrant was issued for his arrest. The Henry County Sheriff's Office said no one by that name has been arrested since the warrant was issued previous year. Mason declined to comment to He was acquitted of engaging in sex acts with a 13-year-old in 2008. His albums continued to top charts while he was on trial for child pornography, and many of his hit songs, like "I Believe I Can Fly" and "Ignition (Remix)", are still played widely.
