Bayern Munich to sign Benjamin Pavard from Stuttgart

The 22-year-old France worldwide will sign a five-year deal with the Bundesliga champions.

The Bavarians, who have somewhat surprisingly struggled in the first half of the Bundesliga season, have announced that Benjamin Pavard will join the club on 1 July 2019, according to sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic.

France and Stuttgart full-back Benjamin Pavard will join Bayern Munich at the end of the season.

Pavard impressed as Didier Deschamps' side claimed a second world title in Russian Federation previous year.

Capable of playing at right-back or in central defence, Pavard began his career at Lille and helped France win the 2018 World Cup. "He can adapt to our style of play and we are following him", he said.

Bayern's next competitive game comes on the 18 January, when they return from winter break with a game at Hoffenheim.

It's also reported that the German giants have tabled a fourth bid for Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, worth somewhere in the region of £35-40million, which is "still under consideration" as things stand.
