Now, a biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has been zeroed in to portray the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a biopic titled PM Narendra Modi.

In a telephonic conversation held on Monday Putin also wished Modi success in connection with the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis unveiled the poster at South Mumbai's Garware Club House in 23 languages.

Three days after news of a biopic on PM Narendra Modi spread like wildfire, the makers have released the first poster of the film. Fadnavis also tweeted about the film. "Produced by Suresh Oberoi and Sandip Ssingh".

The conversation between the two leaders focused mainly on bilateral cooperation and current global issues and they congratulated each other on the New Year, the statement said. Jai Hind. We humbly ask for your prayers and blessings on this incredible journey. The film will be directed by Omung Kumar who has helmed biopics like Mary Kom (2014) and Sarbjit (2016) before. "Vivek is very hardworking and I am sure all of them will make an evergreen film".

Apart from Vivek Oberoi, no other actor has been named in the cast.

The film shooting is expected to kickstart soon in January.

The official poster was released in 23 languages at a press conference today.

A few weeks back, a report in Bombay Times stated, "The actor will play the reigning PM in a film that will be shot across Gujarat, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, among other locations in the country, over a period of a few months".
