AMD's announcements at the Consumer Electronics Show 2019 (CES 2019) show that the company is serious about targeting the mobile market: The company has officially launched second-generation Ryzen Mobile accelerated processing unit (APU) processors with design wins from Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Huawei, Lenovo, and Samsung, as well as a partnership on the first Ryzen-powered Chromebook.

The company's A-series processors, on the other hand, will be used in Chromebooks from HP and Acer. Unlike the Ryzens, the A-Series processors it will come with Radeon R4 and R5 series graphics instead of Radeon Vega Graphics for its integrated graphics.

With Chromebooks remaining popular with schools around the world, Asus wants a bigger piece of that pie, introducing its Chromebook Education series that updates some existing models while adding its first Chrome-based tablet.

Upcoming Samsung TVs to Support Google Assistant & Amazon's Alexa
Google raised some eyebrows at last year's CES , when the company all but declared war on Amazon's Alexa and other rivals. Another big part of this success for Google has been how much it has been pushing the Assistant lately.

We have seen several Chromebooks from various Windows OEMs in the past, but all of them were based on either Intel or some low-end ARM processor. The C214 doubles the storage to 64GB, offers up to 8GB of RAM, and obviously makes the touchscreen a standard feature.

While many laptops are choosing to forgo USB-A ports altogether for USB-C, the HP Chromebook 14's choice to keep 2 USB-A ports alongside the 2 USB-C ports - as well as a microSD slot and a headphone jack - is as refreshing as it is appreciated. Specifications-wise, it's identical while battery life is promised 11 hours on a single charge. It will be available in colors like white, blue and gray.it houses the same-sized display but supports a higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Right now, for $500 you can get the Intel Core I9-9900k which features 8 Cores, 16 Threads, and a boost clock of 5GHz. It will weight 3.7 pounds and have an excellent battery life of up to 13 hours. It comes with 32GB of internal eMMC storage. I wasn't able to use the HP Chromebook 14 in guest mode after a reboot, which is the ideal testing scenario for maximum scoring. Just imagine how much more web surfing you'll get done!
