Speaking last Thursday ahead of the Bears' wild-card game, Fangio said that he had done "zero" to prepare for the interview with the Broncos and was unsure what work he would conduct after the game. Known for his tough coaching style, Flores is considered a future National Football League head coach.

While working in San Francisco from 2011-14, the 49ers ranked in the top 5 in total points allowed three times, and Fangio's defenses in Chicago have ranked in the top 10 in each of the last two seasons.

New Orleans defensive coordinator Dennis Allen.

Fangio, who met with Broncos officials Monday morning, was spotted back at Halas Hall - in his trademark gray sweatshirt - by lunchtime. That could be answered, at least in part, if former Broncos coach Gary Kubiak returns to the sideline from a stint in the club's front office. Still some wondered if the Dolphins really wanted a 60-year-old head coach. ESPN's Jeff Legwold said on Saturday that the Broncos had interviewed Munchak, former Indianapolis Colts coach Chuck Pagano, New England Patriots defensive coordinator Brian Flores and Los Angeles Rams quarterbacks coach Zac Taylor.

Death At National Park Unreported For Week Amid Government Shutdown
But as the partial shutdown enters its third week, critics argue the parks are becoming unsafe. Smith added that most visitors have been respectful to the park and the facilities.

"Of course, as a defensive group and I'm sure everyone in this organization would love for him to stay and not go and get interviews".

If the Broncos do indeed hire Fangio, it could show that GM John Elway prefers veterans to younger assistants.

Flores was a finalist for the Cardinals job previous year, but that went to Steve Wilks, who was sacked at the end of this season.
