Ultimate DLC fighters have been datamined.

Earlier today, there was a new leak for Super Smash Bros Ultimate that listed the complete DLC character roster. Ultimate leak, emerging on the Japanese textboard 5channel, referred to one of the new fighters expected to appear in the already top-rated Nintendo Switch video game.

Now, a reliable dataminer who goes by the name of jam1garner presented the code names for the upcoming DLC Season Pass fighters. Joker should come out after Piranha Plant, who's the first DLC character coming to the game before February 15, 2019. Joker was announced during The Game Awards 2018 and is believed to bring with him Jack Frost, a recurring Persona, as a summon.

Fans believe fearless is meant to be a Dragon Quest character - specifically Erdick from Dragon Quest III.

First up is 'fighter_kind_packun, ' a reference to "Pankun Flower", otherwise known as Piranha Plant in the West. Piranha Plant was included as a redeemable pre-order bonus for those that purchased Super Smash Bros. As noted by dataminer BenArthur_7, a member of the Smash group Kurogane Hammer which originally uncovered the courageous parameter, the Japanese name for the hero in Dragon Quest 3 can be read as "brave man". Joker will come with Super Smash Bros. This lines up with director Masahiro Sakurai's previous statement that all of Smash Ultimate's DLC characters were determined ahead of time. The user claims that the leaked fighters are Dragon Quest X's Anlucia and Dragon Quest XI's Hero skin will be available along with Ryu from Ninja Gaiden, Steve from Minecraft, and Doomguy from Doom. Written in katakana, Joker and Jack do share the character for "ji", albeit with a different modifier, but that's the only real link I could find between the two names.
