The Galaxy A50 is said to belong to Samsung's mid-range segment but even though the phone is said to be affordable rumours claim that the A50 will come with wireless charging support. Aside from the Galaxy A lineup, the other device series that Samsung will keep include the Galaxy M, Galaxy S, and Galaxy Note series.

As yet another smartphone to launch under the "revamped" Galaxy A-series, Samsung is working on the Galaxy A50. Next year, Samsung will unveil as many as four Galaxy S10 flavors, including the Galaxy S10 Lite with a flat 5.8-inch Infinity-O display. Previous rumours that the A50 would pack a 5000mAh battery have now been denied; it seems it will pack a 4000mAh one instead. The Galaxy A lineup includes the mid-range device offerings of the South Korean tech giant, and among the handsets that Samsung will launch under this series include the Galaxy A10, A30, A50, A70, and A90. This SoC features a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, four ARM Cortex A73 CPU cores running at a maximum clock speed of 2.3GHz, and four Cortex A53 CPU cores clocked at up to 1.7GHz. Also, the phone will come in two memory variants including 64GB or 128GB of storage. More surprisingly, the phone will run Android 9 Pie out of the box. In any case, the concept render suggests that while the Galaxy S10 will have only one selfie camera hole, the Galaxy S10+ will sport two selfie camera holes side-by-side on the top right edge of the screen. That said, the fingerprint sensor will be of the optical variety and not ultrasonic like in the S10.

Samsung's upcoming Galaxy A50 has been revealed to carry a beefy 4,000 mAh battery through a new report today. This is because Samsung usually launches its flagship devices with the new Android version first and the rest of its smartphones follow.
