Capcom has just issued a special developer update for Monster Hunter World. It's coming to consoles in autumn 2019 but, while a PC version is confirmed, Capcom did say when it'll come to PC. More details about a PC version are still outstanding. Offering a hefty preview, the Trial Version allows new players to experience quests up to the 3-star level and online multiplayer up to Hunter Rank 4.

Monster Hunter World players in 2019 will be able to step into the shoes of The Witcher 3's Geralt thanks to an upcoming free update.

"Capcom is working on a special collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED to bring professional monster hunter Geralt from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt into the New World early next year".

Iceborne will come packed with all sorts of new content such as some new and returning monsters including the Nargacuga and it will be introducing a completely new monster rank.

In the new collaboration, The Witcher's Geralt will take on a new contract. You can take a peek at how it'll look below. This is not a standalone expansion, and you will need Monster Hunter: World to play Iceborne. World base game is required for the expansion and is now available across consoles and PC.

The Appreciation Fest will be a special event to celebrate the game's 1st anniversary with a decorated gathering hub and the return of nearly all quests.

While in January Capcom will be launching The Appreciation Fest in Monster Hunter World.
