In the final season of Game of Thrones, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen have joined forces to defeat the White Walkers once and for all.

The teaser was released at the São Paulo Expo in Brazil, an offshoot of San Diego Comic-Con, where showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss appeared alongside stars Maisie Williams and John Bradley. The latest teaser is showing the whole A Song of Fire and Ice as mentioned in the novel books by Geroge R.R Martin.

A battle between fire and ice is coming. It doesn't contain any new footage, so those looking to avoid spoilers don't have anything to worry about.

In the clip the painted table at Dragonstone - a large carved wooden map of Westeros - is being engulfed by fire and ice. The eight season of the popular fantasy drama will premiere in April, nearly two years after season seven. HBO said in June that it had given a pilot order to a prequel that will take place thousands of years before the events of the current series.

Who will win? Fire or ice?

"Again, I think it's important, as I said to the team, we've got to be professional, accountable, respectful and punctual". Philbin spoke on Wednesday before his first practice as the interim coach to replace the fired Mike McCarthy .

Another fun factoid: The scripts also reveal at one point there was a plan for the White Walkers to communicate in a special language.

It's exciting to see HBO begin to tease Game of Thrones again as viewers have been waiting since August of 2017 for the hit show to return.

"It was the first time that I was able to actually direct the premiere episode of the season, so I'm just nervous".

Indeed, the wealth of knowledge GoT fans may not have even been aware of until now is deep and fascinating, and it includes a ton of easter eggs, hitherto unknown revelations, and secrets that had only been speculated about before.
