The trailer will debut during ESPN's Monday Night Football broadcast, during halftime of the game between the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles. The movie is an all-new adventure that follows the journey of Carol Danvers (Larson) as she becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes.

That Fury character has so far appeared in eight other Marvel Cinematic Universe films, though this entry, taking place several decades before the others, features Fury as a younger man.

Captain Marvel soars into theaters on March 8, 2019.

We did not expect this turn of events, but we enthusiastically accept the new reality where we all relate to Nick Fury.

With the film's latest trailer, however, it seems we have a pretty straightforward answer, and it comes courtesy of Annette Bening's unnamed character. But, thanks to a misstep from a marketing partner, we may now know one of the biggest secrets of the film! The Kree's mortal enemies are the Skrulls, a shape-shifting race that Captain Marvel and her allies are banded together in stopping altogether.

Some users have also reported problems with making voice calls, despite claims from O2 that voice services are unaffected. Thousands of O2 customers in the United Kingdom have reported problems using data and 4G services.

Brie Larson stars as Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot and the eventual Captain Marvel.

We also get a glimpse of Jude Law, who is either playing the original Captain Marvel, Mar-Vell, or Yon-Rogg, a Kree military commander, or just a regular old Starforce Commander.

Who exactly is Carol Danvers? When we sat down on set with Brie Larson-the actor who's bringing her to life-she was quick to gush about the love story at the center of the film.

Larson also called Danvers aggressive, quick tempered, and invasive, attributes that help her in a fight but prove to be character flaws, according toVariety. People are speculating what would be the outcome if Captain Marvel and Thor team up against Thanos. It's the thing that gets her in trouble, but it's also the thing that makes her great.
