India will pick their side for the first test against Australia, which begins in Adelaide on Thursday, from the following 12 players, BCCI said on Wednesday.Team - Virat Kohli (captain), Murali Vijay, Lokesh Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Hanuma Vihari, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah.

They lauded him for his dedication and felt that he will be the danger man for Australia in the Test series where the hosts, probably for the first time, are not the favourites. The Adelaide Oval hosted the first ever day-night Test match which was played between Australia and New Zealand in November 2015.

In the wake of the tampering scandal, Australia vowed to overhaul their infamous win-at-all-costs attitude, tone down the sledging and be more respectful.

"Play tough Australian cricket".

Paine noted offspinner Nathan Lyon had bowled "a mountain of overs" during Australia's recent Test series against Pakistan and was prepared to back up that effort, while Travis Head could also provide a part-time spin option.

"They're a good team and they've got a couple of great players and we will show them great respect", he said. We are not going to take them lightly at all.

At the time, a Central Intelligence Agency spokesman denied that Haspel was told to stay away from the briefing. Asked by a reporter if it would be a murder conviction, Corker replied "yes".

Marsh had been under serious pressure to retain his spot after lean tours of the UAE and South Africa and skipper Tim Paine has confirmed the West Australian's omission in favour of in-form Victorian batsman Handscomb. It's all about remembering those good things that we did and applying it here.

There is a lot at stake for Langer, Paine and co, who can become the number one Test team in the world with a 4-0 series whitewash which would dethrone their opponents - and current incumbents - India.

"You see their bowling attack, they've got a really good bowling attack, and I think to win Test matches, you need to have a really good bowling attack". On the outside what people think, we can not control. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav form a potent attack. If they can get to 300 or 350 against India then I think they will be very competitive.

"We've been through so much in the last nine months".

"At times when situations are hard you do find ways to upset the batsman's rhythm and I think a bit of banter is not harmful at all".

But India captain Virat Kohli said that Australia can still dominate at home and while he expects sledging to feature in the series, it will not go too far.
