The future of running back Kareem Hunt's National Football League career became increasingly uncertain Monday after he went unclaimed on waivers by the NFL's 31 other teams following his release by the Kansas City Chiefs. The man identified one of these suspects as Hunt, KCTV-5 reports from police. Hunt now is on the commissioner's exempt list and can not play even if another team signs him.

Kansas City police told TMZ that the accuser stopped cooperating and that neither Atkinson nor Hunt was arrested and no charges were filed.

The new video was recorded on a cell phone video and was taken January 7 at a Kansas City nightclub.

Hunt was placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List after the video of him beating up the woman was released last week.

The NFL is also reportedly investigating a separate incident where Hunt was accused of punching a man in the face at an OH resort in June after getting into a verbal altercation.

The Chiefs didn't have a comment about the Mosaic incident.

Police said the man, who was 37 at the time of the incident, confronted Atkinson and got punched in the shoulder.

He named Hunt as one of about eight men involved in the January fight.
