Trump threatens to cancel Putin meeting amid Russia-Ukraine tensions

Apple's stock was down almost 2% late Monday after President Trump said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that he might levy tariffs of 10% on iPhones and laptops imported from China, products that have been exempt so far from fallout in the U.S. If no deal is reached during that meeting, he intends to impose tariffs of 10% to 20% on all remaining imported goods from China.

"As far as other countries are concerned, that's up to them".

He said that six Russian security service vessels and four Navy warships converged on the three Ukrainian ships and opened fire with automatic weapons.

Analysts say failure to find common ground at a G20 meeting in Argentina this week could lead to a deterioration in the trade war which is already hurting industries and risks derailing the global economy.

At 8:23 a.m. ET, Dow e-minis were down 112 points, or 0.46 percent.

The MSCI All-Country World Index, which tracks shares in 47 countries, was flat on the day.

The benchmark S&P 500 finished 0.3 per cent higher at 2,682.
