Google Pixel 3 Users Are Reporting Camera Failures

Rebooting the phone or performing a factory reset seems to solve the problem for some folks, while others say their cameras are still borked.

Part of the reason the Pixel 3 and 3 XL cameras are so good is down to the clever software algorithms Google has used to smartly enhance snaps and provide modes such as portrait and night sight. There's no official acknowledgement from Google so far when Business Insider reached out for comment.

Google's Pixel 3 has a major new bug that's stopping people from being able to use its camera. Then, when they return to the main camera app on the Pixel 3, the camera app shows a blank screen, or a notification pops up within the app saying the camera has experiences a "fatal error". Some are also reporting receiving a "can't connect to camera" message when trying to launch a third-party camera app. Likely to debut as Google Pixel 3 Lite, the smartphone has appeared in some hands-on images revealing its key features and specifications.
