"The second condition took some explaining ..."

Welcome to #TrailerChest, where we're taking a sneak peek at the brand new trailer for Once Upon A Deadpool. Though Savage protests, insisting that he's a grown man and his days of juvenile purity are long behind him, the Merc with a Mouth states that "nobody does childlike innocence" like Savage does. Which is another way of saying - Deadpool 2 has been redone to give it a PG-13 treatment. When he insists he doesn't need Deadpool, Reynolds replies, "You need me to untie you once we're done". But if you're curious to see how a PG-13 Deadpool 2 might play out, Once Upon a Deadpool might be for you. Why am I here, he asks Deadpool, incredulously. "The war has taken its toll over four years, but the economic crisis will accelerate that damage in just a matter of months". The war has killed more than 10,000 people and created the world's worst humanitarian crisis, with disease and hunger rife.

The film also stars Josh Brolin, Zazie Beets, and Julian Dennison and hits theaters on December 12th and will run only through Christmas Eve. There's a quick bit of "new" footage where Deadpool chats with an elderly couple on a bench - but this is actually a deleted scene from Deadpool 2 that can be viewed on the Blu-ray release already. First, a portion of the proceeds had to go to charity. "Working with a small film crew, Reynolds and his cohorts filmed all the framing scenes in a single hectic day of guerrilla-style filmmaking".
