But Trump ditched his planned visit and stayed in his hotel room because of unspecified "scheduling and logistical difficulties caused by the weather, " according to a White House statement.

Not among them: Trump, a day after he riled up his critics by canceling a visit to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in France, the final resting place of almost 2,000 US soldiers killed in the World War I battle of Belleau Wood.

Trump had been scheduled to lay a wreath and observe a moment of silence Saturday at the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery and Memorial, located adjacent to Belleau Wood and about 60 miles (100 kilometers) northeast of Paris.

Twitter was quick to point out that maybe Trump didn't attend because he's not very good with an umbrella.
