New Microsoft Bug Invalidates Windows 10 Pro Licenses

Earlier this week, some Windows 10 users reported that they were unable to select certain apps as their default choices. I have a GENUINE key from Windows 10 PRO and it suddenly became Windows 10 home!

Microsoft acknowledged the problem on Thursday, adding that such users may have received error codes 0X803F8001 and 0xC004C003. For example, a 2008 security patch meant to plug a hole in Windows' implementation of Bluetooth was re-issued in nine days.

Jeff Jones, Sr. Director, Microsoft says: "A limited number of customers experienced an activation issue that our engineers have now addressed".

Fortunately, in my case, it worked-though there's no guarantee you'll have the same luck, unfortunately.
