The Blues manager Maurizio Sarri has revealed that he was unhappy following Chelsea's slim 1-0 victory over BATE Borisov in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Belgium worldwide Hazard has established himself as one of the Premier League and Europe's top players since joining Chelsea from French side Lille in 2012.

"It's a nice thing to have, even the other day when it went 1-1 you were sitting there and you were like "at least Hazard has not still got to come on", do you know what I mean?" Sarri said of Giroud. recalls that Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has made a request to his employers he wants to make two new signings in the January window.

However, the Blues were creating very little in the final third, with only a miscued Olivier Giroud volley from a floated Ross Barkley pass coming anywhere near to breaking the deadlock.

"I was approaching 25 and I felt looking back I could have improved a lot more (at Everton)", Barkley said.

Affectionately called Sarri-ball, this free-flowing, easy-on-the-eye football has seen many purring, not least of which is a former Blues stalwart in Ballack and the ex-Germany favourite, who starred at west London for four years in the late 2000s, reckons that Sarri has finally tapped into the attacking capabilities of the Blues.

I don't think Hazard plays tomorrow. I don't think he plays.

Former Germany worldwide Ballack reckons Chelsea will not only have to fork out a huge amount of money to keep the talented 27-year-old, but they will also need to convince him that they can continue to challenge for major honours.

"On the day I might get a few nerves as it will feel a bit odd".

Few will back Everton to bring an end to that shocking statistic considering that the club are also woeful on a Sunday, losing 11 of their last 13 matches, while there's the small matter of attempting to become the first club to inflict a first league defeat upon Chelsea since May of last season.

Fabregas and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who has a minor back problem, are the only doubts.
