There are already Geekbench 4 benchmarks leaked online and they reveal that the new iPad Pro's processor is closing in on Apple's new 15-inch MacBook Pro's performance. The iPad Pro applies changes in real time, no lag at all, no matter the change, while my Late 2013 Trashcan Mac Pro (2.7 GHz 12-Core Intel Xeon E5 with 64GB RAM) will stutter and think between any changes.

The scores are just a snapshot of performance but nonetheless line up with Apple's claims at the iPad launch this week that it would see a major performance boost over last year's iPad Pro.

The Cupertino, California, company introduced new versions of the iPad Pro, its higher-end tablet that competes with Microsoft Corp's (MSFT.O) Surface, with thinner bezels and more screen space, along with the face unlock system found on Apple's newer iPhones. The new MacBook Air and the iPad Pro are among the most awaited updates in Apple's lineup of products, whereas the Mac mini is the first update to the smaller Mac models after four long years. It is the first iOS device to incorporate the USB Type-C connector port.

So here we are, with a new iPad Pro to check out - one that's insanely powerful, with an overhauled design, an improved screen, and a slew of added extras.

Talking about biometrics, the iPad Pros 2018 are housed with FaceId second generation which is also featured on new Apple devices such as iPhone XS, XS MAX and XR. So we buy Apple products, but then every time we purchase an app Apple gets a cut, we may also buy Apple products, sign up for AppleCare+ etc.

Rapper Mac Miller Died From Accidental Overdose, Autopsy Report Finds
Rapper Mac Miller was killed by a deadly mix of drugs and alcohol, the Los Angeles medical examiner's office said on Monday. A person close to Miller, whose real name was Malcolm James McCormick, said he had spent the evening watching football.

The new MacBook Air is priced starting at $1,199, which makes it the most affordable MacBook with a Retina display.

Apple's latest MacBook Air and MacBook Pro laptops physically disconnect their own microphones when users close their lids. The new iPad Pro is supposedly going to double the graphics performance and nearly double the processor power of last year's model. The base price of the device starts at $799 and comes with an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD.

But it's not just the iPad Pro that has loads of magnets, the Smart Keyboard Folio also has dozens magnets, not only to line-up with the iPad, but so that it sticks to itself when folded.

The iPad Pro sales peaked back in 2014 with 26 million fiscal units sold.

As with previous models, the new machines rely on processors from Intel Corp (INTC.O), but Apple said an increasing number of security features on the devices are being handled by its own so-called T2 chip. If you are determined to go gold or go home and nothing else will do, the 2017 10.5-inch iPad Pro does come in gold and rose gold.
