Still, he made enough of an impression for "SNL" to work a failed engagement crack into a promo with this week's host Jonah Hill and musical guest Maggie Rogers. Davidson performed at a benefit show in Los Angeles last month and joked to the crowd, "Anybody looking for a roommate?"

"Hey, Maggie", Pete said, casually introducing himself to the singer-songwriter. In one of the bits, Davidson asks Rogers if she wants to get married, to which she deadpans: "No".

"0-for-three", Davidson said as he looked to the camera.

Man Missed Lion Air Flight JT610 Due to Traffic
The US plane maker said in a statement: "The Boeing Company is deeply saddened by the loss of Lion Air flight JT 610". Relatives are desperate to find traces of their loved ones, but so far only body parts and debris have been found.

The tweet has since been deleted. From announcing their relationship together earlier this year to getting engaged only a few weeks after, the relationship has been moving very fast and very publicly.

"For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u (sic) sure love clinging to it huh", Grande wrote before following up with, "thank u (sic), next".

Fans were not happy about Davidson's joke, taking to social media to defend Grande and slam the comedian. "He has tried contacting her and sending her gifts in hopes that she will change her mind and take him back, but that is not going to happen", a friend of Grande's told Radar.
