We're less than two months removed from Apple's big September iPhone XS reveal event, but the company just can't stay away as it kicks off yet another press event on Tuesday morning.

In addition to the Retina Display, the New MacBook Air also gets Touch ID.

The new MacBook Air is available for Pre-Order from today and will ship on November 7.

Well, they're here. Apple just officially announced the New MacBook Air.

MacBook Air now comes with two Thunderbolt 3 ports, which allow you to charge your notebook, quickly transfer data via USB and Thunderbolt, output video in three formats and connect to a whole host of devices including external storage, docks for additional ports, 4K and 5K displays, and eGPUs for faster graphics.

Fatal Shooting at Pittsburgh Synagogue
In 2010, Tree of Life Congregation - founded more than 150 years ago - merged with Or L'Simcha to form Tree of Life* Or L'Simcha. The tree-lined residential neighbourhood of Squirrel Hill close to the city centre is the hub of Pittsburgh's Jewish community.

There's only one processor option - a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Coffee Lake i5. There is also a brand new Force Touch trackpad, giving it 20 percent larger area apart from pressure-sensing capabilities.

This means the design of the Air has changed a fair bit so it now looks like something between a MacBook Pro and the 12in MacBook.

The updated MacBook Air is Apple's latest slim notebook laptop, with a retina display and Touch ID, running on macOS Mojave.

That Touch ID sensor with T2 security chip, built into the new butterfly mechanism keyboard, seems very well executed, and for such a take-anywhere system, makes ideal sense. Even so, the FaceTime camera remains on the front, at the top of the screen. The first MacBook Air was introduced in 2008 at a time when its ultra-thin chassis was seen as radical and revolutionary.

The base configuration of the New MacBook Air features the 1.6GHz Core i5 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage.

The laptop's main design difference is that the "bezels" are far thinner, meaning that the new MacBook Air is 17pc smaller, despite have the same size screen.

Apple says that the Air's 50.3 watt-hour lithium polymer battery features up to 12 hours of battery life when web browsing, 13 hours when watching iTunes movie playback and 30 days of standby time. The device has 16GB of memory and up to 1.5TBSSD support. While we are handing a lot of devices down as parents, there may be an extra desktop computer or older gen tablet that you're ready to trade in.
