Red Dead Redemption 2 Has Made $725 Million in Three Days

With the incredible sum of $725 million, Red Dead Redemption 2 has seen the second best launch in entertainment history, beaten only by Rockstar Games' other juggernaut title Grand Theft Auto V which made a jaw-dropping $1 billion in its first three days following it mid-week launch.

Given that Grand Theft Auto V was initially released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, this means Red Dead Redemption 2 now holds the record for the largest launch of the console generation.

When "Red Dead Redemption 2" was announced some time ago it was a sure thing it would make piles of cash.

And that's not all the money it stands to make. So, with this being the case, the possibility of a virtual reality feature coming to Red Dead Redemption 2 would mark a significant moment in the developer's history, and if it gets implemented, could further establish VR headsets in the mainstream.
