For multimedia lovers, the Galaxy Tab S4 also offers four speakers tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos immersive sound technology.

While the Galaxy Book 2's keyboard felt fairly snappy in my limited hands-on time, the pen, while functional with 4,096 degrees of pressure sensitivity, felt cheap.

Of course, for those who do want a premium tablet and don't have an issue paying for it, the Galaxy Tab S4 can be an excellent purchase thanks to its lovely AMOLED display alone. It has an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a 287 ppi pixel density.

In my short time with the Galaxy Book 2, Samsung's machine appears to be a competent Surface Pro competitor, and I really like that Samsung made a decision to toss the pen and keyboard in the box unlike what Microsoft and Apple do on for their Surfaces and iPad Pros. You can use the accessory to make notes, navigate through the screen, translate any text and send personalised texts through Samsung Live Message. At up to 20 hours, it's nearly double the first Galaxy Book. The device has fast charging capability. There's an 8MP camera on the back and a 5MP camera on the front. The primary camera records 2160p video at 30fps. The company claims that this is defence-grade security and all critical information is protected through multiple layers of security. The 2-in-1 houses a few USB Type-C ports, a microSD card slot and 3.5mm headphone jack. The device has advanced usability options with the help of Samsung DeX. Samsung has provided a proprietary Dual mode on the tablet that enhances multitasking. There's a new Standalone mode, with which one can enjoy a PC-like interface even without a monitor or the "Book Cover" Keyboard.

Again, we'll have to wait for United Kingdom information but in the U.S. you can buy the device online at AT&T, Microsoft and Samsung from the above release date. Priced at Rs 57,900, the Tab S4 takes on the Apple iPad Pro which is also retailing at a similar price. The tablet will be available as an Amazon exclusive starting October 20.

The only downside is that it runs Windows 10 S, a slimmed-down version of Microsoft's operating system that can only run applications from the Windows Store that Vole has explicitly approved - including Microsoft Office.
