For the first time since the Milwaukee Brewers began their incredible late-season surge, their bats went cold enough to lose.

James Franco and Owen Wilson were among the Hollywood stars on hand to cheer on the Los Angeles Dodgers in their 5-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers Wednesday. "There's a determination, and when you get a champion like him that gets hit around a little bit, he's going to respond, and that's what he did today".

"It was huge to get there to third base, less than two outs, give us a shot to do some things", Barnes said of Taylor.

"I don't really think about the one before".

The most prominent struggler is Christian Yelich, the likely NL MVP from nearby Thousand Oaks. That made it 2-1 Dodgers.

The Dodgers started unveiling their relievers in the sixth inning, beginning with Pedro Baez and heading on, in order, to Kenta Maeda, Caleb Ferguson, Ryan Madson, Kenley Jansen, Alex Wood, Dylan Floro and Urias.

"We had opportunities that we didn't take advantage of", Yelich said. It was a hard-fought game.

Modi warns of high oil prices hurting global economic growth
In New Delhi , petrol was retailing at Rs 82.72 per litre and diesel was retailing at Rs 75.46 per litre, increased by Rs 0.08. The rising crude oil prices have pushed the rupee down - this year it has fallen 14.5 per cent, making imports costlier.

He also promised to deliver a better effort in Game 4 on Tuesday night.

The Brewers then announced shortly after the decision that Miley would be starting Game 6.

The Athletic reported Milwaukee plans to start Miley in Game 6. And I'm a different hitter than I was a year ago.

But Milwaukee lost for just the second time in its last 15 games because the Brewers didn't generate almost enough offence to back their pitching staff, which turned in another stellar night of work. The Dodgers are 2-0 coming off a loss this postseason. The Dodgers earned their fifth extra-inning playoff victory in franchise history and their first since winning Game 4 of the 1988 NLCS against the New York Mets. Los Angeles has to end their trend of leaving runners in scoring position if it wants to win another game in this series.

Milwaukee had gone scoreless over the final eight innings Tuesday and the first two innings Wednesday. Kershaw held the lead, scoring an insurance run in the seventh and then exiting.

The Brewers' attempt to deke the Dodgers into fielding a platoon-heavy lineup didn't necessarily pan out, as both Cody Bellinger and Max Muncy started. Moustakas is 2 for 17 with six strikeouts in the NLCS, while Cain is 4 for 20 with seven strikeouts and Aguilar is 3 for 14. "Honestly, I was surprised that they were throwing to me, I thought they would pitch around me and get me to swing".
