Before Monday's (NZ time) finale, Schumacher has moved 51 points clear of his nearest rival, Britain's Daniel Ticktum, and can no longer be caught in the third-tier racing series to clinch the first title of his young career.

MICK Schumacher, the teenage son of the stricken Michael Schumacher, was described as having the potential to become "one of the sport's greats" after being crowned Formula Three European champion on Saturday, fuelling speculation of a Formula One career.

Mick Schumacher missed his first chance to win the Formula Three European drivers' championship on Saturday after damaging his auto, but still has two opportunities to secure the title this weekend.

However the 19-year-old isn't ready to let his hair down and pop the champagne corks yet, insisting he'll wait until Sunday so he can give it his all to sign off in style with a final win.

"I feel really grateful for what I'm able to live in this moment, to live this dream". We drivers do what we love.

"I have the team behind me, and people I can go to for relaxing", he said.

Mega Millions winning numbers announced
Although the Mega Millions prize has grown larger, the odds of winning remain the same, at a dismal one in 302.5 million. Jackpots start at $40 million, and other prizes pay from $1 million to $2 million or more with a Megaplier.

Mick Schumacher finished second to seal the Formula Three championship.

That's one more racing title for the Schumacher family.

"Attention was focussed on the youngster right from the start, and he was under a lot of pressure. It's not easy coping with all that, especially if the season does not get off to the best of starts, as in this case", Wolff said.

In 2014, he finished the season finishing second overall in the German, European and world championships. What the team have achieved over the a year ago is astonishing.

"He has proven himself and can become a great in our sport", said Wolff.

"We are also obviously delighted that he registered a 500th race win for Mercedes in F3 and that he secured the title in a Mercedes-powered vehicle".
